Sharaf to visit Bahrain and UAE

Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf will visit Bahrain and UAE next week ahead of a tour in Africa


Prime Minster Essam Sharaf will visit the Kingdom of Bahrain on Sunday, followed by a visit to the United Arab Emirate before heading to Africa Tuesday.

Sharaf will hand over two letters from Field Marshall Mohamed Hussein Tantawi to Bahrani King Hamd Bin Eissa El-Khalifa and the Emirates President El-Sheikh Khalifa Ben Zayed Al-Nahyan. The letters discuss the relationship between Egypt and the respective countries.

A delegation of ministers will accompany Sharaf on his visit. Sharaf will also discuss with the two Gulf leaders the development of relations between Egypt and Bahrain and the Emirates, and how the economic, commercial and investment sectors can be bolstered. Sharaf will also discuss the possibility of launching new investment projects in Egypt in the coming period.

On Tuesday, the Egyptian prime minister will begin a tour of African countries that will include the Congo, Uganda and Ethiopia.
