Freedom Art aims to support emerging artists and provide information on resources available for artists in the region

A newly launched online gallery called Freedom Art has issued a call for submissions from emerging artists from the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, as well as those operating globally.

The Dubai-based, non-profit online gallery focuses on encouraging and promoting emerging artists and collectors by providing them with the resources necessary to advance.

The gallery aims to guide emerging artists to opportunities for funding, apprenticeships, studio availabilities, workshops and residencies, helps artists acquire marketing skills, structure their portfolio, and meet established professionals for guidance and mentorship.

The selection committee includes a team of experienced curators and rotating roster of interdisciplinary professionals.

The online gallery, whose websiteis still under development, is working towards becoming a central hub of information about art and artists’ resources available in the region.

Freedom Art is the brainchild of a commercial art director, software engineer and Noush Like Sploosh, an interdisciplinary artist who grew up in Dubai and currently resides there.
