Zamalek will be facing their final hurdle ahead of their top-of-the-table clash with leaders ENPPI when the Cairo side host Gouna in the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday.

Zamalek will be looking for their third win in a row at the expense of Gouna, while ENPPI will be hoping to make it five straight victories when they visit Harras El-Hodoud two days later. Only one point separate ENPPI and Zamalek.

Jaime Pacheco's men are most likely to ease to victory over 13th-placed Gouna while ENPPI will be having a tougher mission at ninth-placed Hodoud – where they will be looking to retain their lead at the top of the table.

Zamalek will welcome back Mohamed Koffi from suspension after the Burkina Faso center-half served a three-match suspension following an off-the-ball incident with Masry striker Ahmed Raouf.

But the title chasers will continue to miss key midfielder Tarek Hamed, who sustained a knee injury during training, as he is set for a two-week layoff.

Striker Khaled Kamar also returns from suspension, but the good news for the Whites' fans is the inclusion of tricky youngster Mostafa Fathi for the Gouna tie.

Zamalek's faithful have been questioning the reason behind the omission of Fathi for the previous league games, after the winger proved vital in settling games for his side last season.

But whether he will be given a chance to play under Pacheco remains to be seen, as Ayman Hefni, Moemen Zakareya, Ahmed Eid and Hazem Emam all ready to feature in the game.

Despite making the squad for the first time in five games in last week's 3-1 win at Assiouty Sport, out-of-favor frontman Abdoulaye Cisse missed out again.

Elsewhere, defenders Islam Gamal and Saleh Mousawere where characteristically excluded from the squad after being named against Assiouty.

Egypt keeper Ahmed El-Shennawy has yet to recover from an ankle problem, as Mohamed Abo-Gabal continues to deputize for him.
