The classy goalkeeper features in Zamalek squad for the first time since two months after recovering from an ankle injury
Zamalek interim coach Mohamed Salah announced on Monday his 18-man squad for his side upcoming league's clash against Arab Contractors on Wednesday.
Keeper Ahmed El-Shenawy returned to the squad after around two months of absence.
The 23-year-old sustained an ankle injury during the first ten minutes in Egypt's 1-0 loss to Senegal in African qualifiers last November.
El-Shenawy's return will be a great boost for the White Knights given the shaky performance of substitute keeper Mohamed Abou- Gabal who failed to establish himself during the last period.
Left-back Ahmed Samir joined Zamalek's injuries list that include wingers Hazem Emam, Omar Gaber and midfielder Tarek Hamed who will miss Wednesday's clash for different injures.
Samir sustained a muscle injury during his side 2-1 win over Petrojet on Saturday.
Zamalek are leading the league table with 37 points, three ahead of second-placed ENPPI.
