All options for Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah are still open including staying at the Blues until the end of season, Ahram Online understands.

This comes amid wide media speculation that the Egyptian international is about the leave Stamford Bridge.

However, Chelsea, who top the Premier League table, are still reluctant to release Salah despite receiving a series of offers from European clubs, an informed source close to the player said.

Chelsea have received four offers from clubs either interested to sign Salah permanently or on loan within the last 10 days, the source added.

A Chelsea insider told Ahram Online that Italian sides AS Roma and Fiorentina, Spanish champions Atletico Madrid and French Ligue1 club Monaco are all interested to lure Salah.

Roma are understood to have increased their offer more than once. Chelsea are asking for at least £15m to release Salah.

British media reports suggest the player is close to joining Roma but an informed source said the Italian Serie A runners-up are still mulling whether to up their bid.

Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho has recently hinted that Salah was likely to stay put.

"I have a very short squad and I need everybody. For Salah to leave somebody has to come, and I don’t think we are going to let Salah go on loan and buy a £50 million player," he told Chelsea's official website.

The source who is close to Salah said Mourinho made it clear to the 22-year-old that he wants him to stay and be more patient.

Ahram Online understands that Salah is still willing to fight for his place until the end of the season, hoping Mourinho would give him more chances to prove his worth.

In January 2014, Salah joined Chelsea from Basel, with whom he had produced some eye-catching displays against Chelsea in European competitions, in an £11m transfer deal.

However, has made only six Premier League starts since then and played just 30 minutes of top-flight football so far this season.

He has overall made 17 appearances with Chelsea, scoring twice and creating one goal.
