"The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have received three contracts that the player signed with his former club Ittihad," the EFA board member Mahmoud El-Shami told an Egyptian Radio station Tuesday.

"One of his signed contracts with Ittihad, under former chairman Mohamed Moselhi, ends in 2015 summer so the player can freely move out then," El-Shamy added.

The board member announced that Zaki signed with Ittihad under three different chairmen but the only authorised contract is the one that already expired.

"Ahly should pay compensation to the Alexandrian club for the benefits differences the player was handed," El-Shamy concluded.

The promising young striker apologised to Ittihad crowd for leaving the club announcing that joining Ahly has always been 'his dream'.

"It's an honour for me to finally play for Ahly. It has always been my dream. I will start the trainings in 10 days," Zaki told an Egyptian TV programme Monday.

"I say to Ittihad fans: don't get mad at me. This is football and it's a profession," he said.

The EFA will have a meeting Sunday to make their final dissection about the legal transfer process of Zaki's case.
