Zamalek defender Hany Said has officially signed a three-year contract, to start in August, with Egyptian League dark horses Maqassa without disclosing the financial details.
The 31-year-old defender delayed negotiations with Maqassa more than times as he was eager to extend his stay with Zamalek for another spell.
Maqassa officials held talks with former Fiorentina and Bari centre-back Said to convince him to wear their jersey next season.
The Pharaohsdefender gave a great performance during the African Cup of Nations 2008 in Ghana, becoming a target for Cairo-based clubs, Ahly and Zamalek as the latter snatched his signature.
Maqassa settle into sixth place in the Egyptian Premier League table with 44 points in what is their first ever appearance at the top.
