The game will be played in the worst pitch you have ever played in your career, coach Cuper warns his players

Ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers campaign opener against Chad, Egypt national football team coach Hector Cuper has warned his players of the stadium's poor condition.

The Pharaohs will open their qualifying campaign against Chad away from home on 14 November before hosting the African minnows three days later in the second leg.

Egypt delegation arrived in Chad on Thursday to start bidding for a place in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

"The game will be played in the worst pitch you ever play in your career," Cuper was quoted as saying on Filgoal.

"I know we are working under bad circumstances but I am confident we will win," the Argentine coach added.

The winners of the double-legged second-round qualifiers will directly qualify for five four-team groups, whose winners make it to the World Cup in Russia.
