Zamalek's international striker Bassem Morsi will be available for his side's league clash against Ghazl Al-Mahalla after the club decided to lift his ban on Monday.
The top marksman was suspendedfor an indefinite period on Sunday after appearing on a TV program, violating the club's decision to boycott local media in support of controversial chairman Mortada Mansour after his recent snub by most Egyptian newspapers, television channels and news websites.
After a meeting between the player and the club's president, the latter decided to lift the ban on Morsi.
Morsi was earlier fined LE350,000 by the board after posting a photo on his personal Instagram account for a second time, violating the club management’s orders against making posts on social media.
The 24-year-old was instrumental in Zamalek's triumphant campaign last season that saw the club win a double (Egyptian league and Cup) for the first time since 1988.
Morsi, who scored 19 goals for his side last season, has not scored any goals since his double against Ahly in the final of the Egypt Cup in September.
