African Super Cup date announced
, Sunday 12 Dec 2010
The Confederation of African Football has set Saturday, 29 January 2011, as the day for the African Super Cup between TP Mazembe and FUS de Rabat

The Congolese giants TP Mazembe (RDC), who became the first team to have defended their CAF Champions League title twice (1967, 1968 and 2009, 2010), will host CAF Confederation Cup winners FUS de Rabat (MOR) in their attempt to clinch a second straight Super Cup title.

TP Mazembe thrashed Tunisian giants Esperance 6-1 on aggregate, while FUS de Rabat overshadowed CS Sfaxien from Tunisia 2-1 on aggregate in their continental finals.

Egyptian giants Ahly have won the Super Cup title four times (2002, 2006, 2007 and 2009) since its inauguration in 1992, more than any other team.
