Tunisia's Club Africain, Libya's Ahly Tripoli win first leg in Champions League

Libya's Ahly Tripoli and Tunisia's Club Africain both made use of the fan and home advantage on Saturday to claim first-leg wins in the CAF Champions League round of 32.

Striker Adirson Abiko scored Ahly Tripoli's winning goal only 18 minutes into the game to give his side an early lead over Sudanese side Al-Hilal.

The Sudanese champions will host Ahly Tripoli in the second leg of the round of 32 on 20 March.

Meanwhile, Club Africain striker Ibrahim Chinihi scored his side's first goal 11 minutes from the start to give them the upper hand over MO Bejaia of Algeria.

Algerian team MO Bejaia will host Club Africain on 20 March, also in the second leg of the round of 32.

In other games, Zesco United of Zambia defeated Horoya of Guinea 4-1, and APR of Rwanda lost at home to Young Africans of Tanzania 1-2; the second leg will be played next week.
