Egyptian side ENPPI suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat at Mounana of Gabonin the first-leg of the Confederation Cup round of 16 on Sunday, to leave them with a mountain to climb in the second leg set to be played in Cairo on 20 April.

Midfielder Rick Allogho Mba opened the scoring on 17 minutes and Eric Ilamba doubled the seal after converting a penalty, five minutes after the hour-mark.

Fellow Egyptian side Maqassa lost 1-0 at Algeria's CS Constantine on Saturday.
