Egypt police fired teargas to disperse thousands of angry protesters gathered at the press syndicate in Cairo to oppose the government’s decision to acknowledge Saudi Arabian sovereignty over the Red Sea islands of Tiran and Sanafir, an Ahram Online reporter reported.
