Milan and other European clubs are following Ahly's youngster according to Italian reports

Ahly's in-form youngster Ramadan Sobhi is being monitored by Italian giants AC Milan according to a report in Italian media.

Sobhi, who can operate as a winger or playmaker, came under the spotlight recently after his outstanding performances with the Cairo giants and the Egyptian national team.

He has been key in settling many matches in Ahly's favour, thanks to his skills and physique which made him a darling of the fans.

Italian football website Calciomercato said on Saturday that the 18-year-old is one of the new talents on the radar of the Rossoneri.

"Milan and other European clubs are following this guy who has a good vision of the game," the website said, hailing the player's pace and physical prowess.

"Making his debut with Egypt in June 2015 against Tanzania, Ramadan became the second youngest ever to wear the national team shirt after former Ajax and Roma player Mido. He was 17 years, 11 months and 18 days old."

"Sobhi' contract with Ahly expires on 30 June 2016 and a deal could be finalised for 4 or 5 million Euros," the Italian website concluded.

Sobhi, who came through the youth ranks of Ahly, made his debut with the Reds at only 17 years of age, scoring 15 goals in 76 appearances so far.

He was one of Egypt's best performers when he recently created a goal for Mohamed Salah in a vital 1-1 draw away to Nigeria. Sobhi then scored the solitary goal which gave the Pharaohs a 1-0 home win over the Super Eagles to put them on the verge of reaching next year's African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
