Two first-half goals from Nicklas Bendtner earned Denmark a 2-0 win over Norway in their Euro 2012 qualifier in Group H on Tuesday
Bendtner opened the scoring in the 23rd minute when he stopped his run to collect a pass from Dennis Rommedahl before rifling the ball home. He then beat Norway goalkeeper Rune Almenning Jarstein from around 25 meters (yards) with a low shot.
They were Bendtner’s first goals in 14 months for Denmark.
Leader Portugal, Denmark and Norway all have 13 points in a tightly-contested group of five teams, which also features Iceland and Cyprus.
