The Egyptian prime minister will meet with his Turkish counterpart, Erdogan, later Tuesday afternoon to discuss cooperation agreements amid a shifting regional landscape
Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf is expected to meet with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, this afternoon.
During the meeting, the two prime ministers are expected to sign a strategic cooperation agreement and several memoranda of understanding relating to industrial, commercial and maritime cooperation between Turkey and Egypt.
Erdogan and Sharaf will then hold a joint press conference to answer questions about recent events in the region, the Turkish role in supporting the Arab Spring revolutions and the revival of the Middle East peace process.
