Defender out for three weeks following training ground incident; Shikabala also a doubt
Zamalek will be without defender, Hani Said, for their match against Haras El-Hodoud in the semifinals of the Egypt Cup on Saturday.
The former Masry defender will be out of action for three weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury during training yesterday. Said clashed with teammate Mahmoud Abdel-Razek ‘Shikabala’ before returning to the changing room where he sustained the injury.
Meanwhile, Zamalek coach, Hassan Shehata, has reportedly decided to sideline Shikabala for the Haras El-Hodoud match due to his role in the incident.
The 28-year-old Hani Said signed a three-year contract with Zamalek last summer that will keep him with the Whites until 2014.
Zamalek booked their place in the Egypt Cup semis after beating Gouna 3-2 in the quarterfinals, while Haras El-Hodoud reached the round by defeating second division sideNassr 1-0.
