Ramadan Sobhi, who can operate as a winger or playmaker, came under the spotlight this season after his outstanding performances with the Cairo giants and the Egyptian national team

Ahly's youngster Ramadan Sobhi has three offers to play in Europe according to his club, while Dutch coach Martin Jol believes the club's rising star will be a world famous player in the future.

The 19-year-old in-form youngster Sobhi played influential role in guiding the Cairo giants to their 38thleague title this season.

The Reds were crowned with the Egyptian Premier League title following a 2-1 win over Ismaily Friday.

Ahly sealed the league title with two matches to spare after rivals Zamalek failed to secure more than a 2-2 draw with Masry, giving Ahly an unassailable seven point lead at the top of the table.

"Sobhi will be a world famous player, but he first needs to be recognised more by European football fans," Martin Jol said after the victory over Ismaily.

"The player should be seen more first and then we can talk about his future," the former Tottenham coach added.

Sobhi, who can operate as a winger or playmaker, came under the spotlight this season after outstanding performances with the Cairo giants and the Egyptian national team.

He has been key in settling many matches in Ahly's favour thanks to his skills and physique, which have made him a darling of the fans.

Three offers from Europe

Earlier this month, Ahly reportedly received an offer from English Premier League side Stoke City to sign Sobhi.

Ahly president Mahmoud Taher hailed Sobhi after the league title crowning, revealing that the young star received three offers to play in Europe.

"The club has received three offers for Ramadan. Two from the English Premier League and one from Italy's Serie A," Taher told ONTV TV channel

"The technical staff headed by Martin Jol will determine the player's future. We won't stand against his future but the offer should be appropriate for both the club and the player.

"Jol told me that Ramadan's estimated price is from 7-8 million Euros and he really deserves that but we didn't receive that number yet," the chairman concluded.

Sobhi, who came through the youth ranks of Ahly, made his debut with the Reds at only 17 years of age, scoring five goals with the club in the domestic league this season.
