Ghana's FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi said on Monday that the Black Stars have to be cautious when they face Egypt in the World Cup qualifiers as he believes the Pharaohs would be determined to avenge their humiliating 2013 defeat.

Egypt were drawn in Group E in the World Cup qualifiers alongside Ghana, Congo and Uganda.

"It's a very tricky draw and we expect to have lots of plot for revenge, particularly, from the Egyptians," Nyantakyi was quoted as saying by ghanasocerrnet on Monday.

Egypt have a painful memory with Ghana when they lost 7-3 on aggregate to the Black Stars in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers and the Ghana FA president believes that the two clashes against Egypt will be very tough.

"It won't be easy as the Egyptians may not see themselves being denied another World Cup slot two times in succession by the Stars.

"They still have not forgiven the Stars for the 7-3 drubbing which cost them a ticket to the 2014 World Cup."

Seven-time African Champions Egypt are bidding for their first appearance in the World Cup since 1990.
