Ahram Online brings to you a selection of films to be released in cinemas across Egypt during Eid El-Fitr


Men 30 Sana (30 Years Ago)


Director: Amr Arafa

Starring: Ahmed El-Sakka, Mona Zaki, Mervat Amin, Sherif Mounir, Nour, Gamila Awad

According to the Egyptian cinema news website elcinema.com,the film follows Sherif Mounir as he suffers daily nightmares in which he murders strangers, and ends up actually killing these strangers once he wakes up. He seeks his friend’s help (played by Ahmed El-Sakka), who ends up informing the police about his friend’s crimes in an attempt to win over Mounir’s sweetheart (Mona Zaki).

Abo Shanab (Man With a Moustache)


Director: Sameh Abdelaziz


Starring: Yasmine Abdelaziz, Dhaffer L’Abidine, Lotfy Labib, Bayoumy Fouad, Ragaa El-Geddawy

The film centers on a female police officer (Yasmine Abdelaziz) who is subjected to an incident of sexual harassment after which she becomes adamant in her fight against the phenomenon.

A criminal gang kidnaps a rich family’s newborn. A number of comical incidents ensue as the gang tries to return the newborn to his family.

A comedy that centers on a group of researchers working on an India-based project.

30 Yom Fe El-Ezz (30 Days of Luxury)

Starring: Ahmed Falawkas, Saad El-Sagheer, Safinaz, Nermine Maher, Mahmoud El-Leithy

A love story unravels between a couple who lives in the same neighborhood, except that fights quickly come between them and comedic incidents ensue.
