Administrative Court orders approval of two political parties, one founded by Jama’a Islamiya and another by Ayman Nour
The Supreme Administrative Court has issued a verdict to recognize two political parties which were rejected last month by the Egyptian Commission of Parties Affairs.
The first party is Al-Bena’a Wal Tanmenya (Building and Development) party, which represents the Islamist Al-Jama’a Al-Ismaliya. The other is the liberal Al-Ghad Al-Gadeed (‘New’ Tomorrow) led by former presidential candidate Ayman Nour.
