Some Egyptian banks have reasumed dealings in Qatari riyals after halting on Monday when Egypt cut ties with the Gulf state, three bankers told Reuters on Monday.

A fourth banker said other banks are still limiting their transactions with Qatar on the instructions of their management.

Egypt's action to cut ties with Qatar on Monday was coordinated with similar moves by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, all of which accused Qatar of supporting terrorism and destabilising the region.
