Esperance de Tunis striker Taha Yassine khenissi has denied reports linking him with a possible switch to Egyptian giants Ahly, saying he is not considering such a move.

Reports suggested that Ahly are interested in the Tunisian international striker, who scored twice in Esperance's two-legged duel with the Red Devils in the African Champions League quarters, although Esperance eventually bowed out.

Ahly reached the semis with 4-3 aggregate win before overcoming Etoile du Sahel in the last four, only to miss out on the trophy following a 2-1 aggregate defeat by Morocco's Wydad Casablanca.

"There are no talks with Ahly," khenissi told Tunisian Media on Tuesday.

"I am not interested in such move," he added.

Reports also said that the 25-year-old is on the radar of French side Nice, who monitored the player in Tunisia's goalless draw with Libya in the World Cup qualifiers on Saturday.

Khenissi helped Tunisia qualify for the World Cup for the sixth time. They will make their first appearance since the 2006 edition in Germany.
