Egypt's Salah fit to face Manchester City

Egypt winger Mohamed Salah returns from injury to give Liverpool a huge boost in their highly anticipated game against Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.

The 25-year old winger missed the past couple of games due to a groin injury but has now fully recovered and has been declared fit for the game.

“If nothing happens in this moment, Mo is back, he is training completely normally,” the manager told reporters at his pre-match press conference.

Mo has been Liverpool's top scorer this season having scored 23 goals in 29 appearances for the Reds since joining them last summer.

Salah – who won the 2017 African Player of the year earlier this month – is shouldering the hopes of Liverpool fans who fear for their team after the departure of Brazilian inspirational playmaker Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.

The 25-year-old Brazilian joined the Spanish club for 140 million pounds ($190 million) in what he described as his "dream move"

It will be a tough test for coach Jurgen Klopp against an unbeaten Manchester City's side who routed them 5-0 in the first half of the season.
