Egypt's core consumer price inflation declined to 7.04 per cent on an annual basis last month from 7.6 per cent in October, the central bank said on Sunday.

Core inflation strips out subsidised goods and volatile items, including fruits and vegetables.

Urban consumer inflation climbed to 9.1 per cent in the 12 months to November from 7.1 per cent in October, the state statistics agency said on Saturday.
