Egypt and Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah doesn't believe that the Champions League final would be a showdown between him and Real Madrid's forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Liverpool have reached the final for the first time since 2007 after beating Roma with a 7-6 aggregate victory on Wednesday and will face Real Madrid in the final on 26 May.

"No I don't think it will be about me and Ronaldo. It is the entire team that plays and wins and I will do my best to help Liverpool win the title," he told beIN Sports after the game.

The 25-year old winger became the first Egyptian ever to reach the Champions League final playing an inspirational role in Liverpool's campaign after scoring 10 goals, including two in their 5-2 win in the first leg.

"We knew it would be a very difficult game here but what matters is that we reached the final," he added.

Salah has won the PFA and Writers player of the Year in the Premier League and is already seen as a serious contender for this year Ballon d'Or.

"Ballon d'Or, I don't know about that. All I want for now is to win the Champions League title," Mo concluded.
