Egypt PM pushes for integrated investment map to attract foreign investors

Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Sunday chaired a meeting to discuss the establishment of an integrated investment map for projects in all sectors.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and Board Chairman of Egypt's bourse Mohamed Farid.

During the meeting, Madbouli underlined the government's keenness to attract foreign investments.

The government has exerted efforts to attract foreign direct investments, including varied legislative amendments.

Madbouli stressed the need for coordination between the Ministry of Investment and other governmental bodies.

For his part, Farid highlighted the Egyptian bourse's efforts to boost the capital market during the period between August 2017 and July 2018, including the development of the technological infrastructure.
