Egypt's interior minister meets with Central Security Forces, hails their sacrifices

Egypt’s Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfik met with officers, personnel and soldiers from the Central Security Forces on Friday, praising their sacrifices as heroic role model for the maintenance of the homeland’s security and stability, according to the ministry’s Facebook page.

At the beginning of the meeting, held at a CSF camp, the minister called on participants to mark a minute of mourning to commemorate the martyrs from the police who had sacrificed their lives for the country.

Tawfik honoured personnel from the Field 2 Central Security Forces and units which serve in North Sinai, praising their performance, which he said reflects their full comprehension of the seriousness of the tasks assigned to them, with full readiness and steady combat capabilities to deal with emergency situations.

At the end of the meeting, the minister praised the professional level of the training system for officers and members of the CSF, saluting the sacrifices of the martyrs and injured for the sake of Egypt.
