The Egyptian government approved a bill during its weekly meeting on Wednesday on relocating interim exhibition “King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh" from the California Science Center to La Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris on March 18, 2019 through September 30, 2019.

The move was taken to boost cultural relations between Egypt and countries around the world and to promote tourism to Egypt.

The cabinet under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli also approved a presidential bill on a deal between the Egyptian government and the European Investment Bank about implementing the first phase of a project to expand wastewater treatment plants in Fayoum.

The project is expected to cost 395 million euros, which will be partially covered by a 37 million euro grant.

The cabinet also approved a presidential bill on an agreement between the Egyptian government and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to support the regional cooperation program of the FAO's Regional Water Scarcity Initiative in the Near East and North Africa.
