Remittances of Egyptians in UAE rose to AED 2.4 bln in second quarter of 2018

The remittances of Egyptian expatriates in the UAE rose to AED 2.4 billion in the second quarter of 2018, as compared to 2.1 billion in the first quarter of the same year according to a report received by the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration.

The report, issued by the UAE Central Bank, showed that the overall amount of foreign workers' remittances in total had hit AED 87.9 billion in the first half of 2018, versus AED 43.5 billion in the first quarter of the same year.
