A campaign raising awareness about heart diseases in Egypt celebrates entering the Guinness book of records

The Egyptian Red Crescent and Philips International Charity Foundation celebrated on Friday a new entry into the Guinness Book of Records at the Giza Pyramids.

The entry, a huge heart drawn by bikers who started their routes from different places across Egypt, covered a distance of 6853 km, the same length as the Nile.

The heart is the symbol of the "Back to Rhythm" campaign, which concluded with the Guinness celebration, which aimed at raising cardiovascular health awareness among Egyptians with activities and events throughout Cairo.

At the end of the campaign, the Philips foundation donated 30 heart-shock devices to the Egyptian Red Crescent to be distributed among public health facilities all over the country.
