Egypt’s benchmark EGX30 index was down 5.82% on Thursday, to close at 13,283 points, with total losses on the Egyptian exchange reachingEGP 38.5 billion.
The broader EGX70 index was down by 2.04 percent to close at 623 points, although the EGX100 went up by 1.4 percent, to close at1616 points.
The market capital saw a loss of EGP 38.5 billion, reaching EGP 744.1 billion compared to EGP 782.6 billion on Wednesday.
Arab investors were net sellers at EGP 149 million, while foreign investors were net buyers at EGP 222.9 million.
