Coptic business mogul Naguib Sawiris has announced a reward of LE1 million for those who can offer information leading to the perpetrators of the attack on the Saints Church

Egyptian businessman and telecom tycoon Naguib Sawiris will give one million Egyptian pounds ($173,000) to anyone who can provide information leading to the perpetrators of the attack on Saints Church in Alexandria, El-Youm El-Sabei newspaper reported. Sawiris said that it was a heinous attack, yet in the face of such tragedy, it has brought Muslims and Copts closer. Speaking on Min Qalb Masr program on Egypt's satellite Nile TV, he said that unity and solidarity should be the motive of all Egyptians against the crisis facing Egypt.

Sawiris, a Copt, had previously announced a reward of LE1 million for information concerning the theft of the Van Gogh poppy flowers painting from an Egyptian museum last year.
