Egypt's Health Minister Hala Zayed discussed on Saturday with a delegation from the Ethiopian health ministry boosting cooperation between the two countries in the health sector, according to the Egyptian health ministry spokesman.

During the meeting, Zayed approved establishing a specialised medical unit in Ethiopia, as well as sending Egyptian medical convoys to aid with urgent surgical needs in a number of Ethiopian cities.

Zayed also agreed that Egypt will train Ethiopian medical teams in Nasser Institute Hospital.
