Sharmoofers will be accompanied by Disco Misr band on Friday at El-Horreya Garden, promising to end the concert before the start of the African Champions League final

Two-member Egyptian band Sharmoofers is inviting its fans to the 'Movember Music Festival' concert on 9 November at El-Horreya Garden in Zamalek, with a promise of lots of dancing.

"Put on comfortable shoes and bring your fake (or real) mustaches, because we’re going to make sure you feel the groove until you can do nothing but move," the event details stated.

Sharmoofers, composed of Ahmed Bahaa and Mohamed El-Arkan, is one of the most well-known bands in Egypt; however, they are slightly reclusive and do not perform as often as hardcore fans would like.

"We invite you all to attend the concert, and do not worry about the match, as we want to watch it too. The concert will end one-and-a-half hour before [the match begins]," Sharmoofers said on their official Facebook page, referring to the African Champions League final between Egypt’s Ahly football team and Tunisia’s Esperance.

Sharmoofers, who released in September their successful music video 'Zamba,' the second from their new album after Moftaqed El-Habiba, are gaining widespread popularity among youngsters with their percussive beats and ironic yet optimistic lyrics.

Zamba is a typical summer pop tune inspiring listeners to move, dance and feel optimistic with its party lyrics, energetic arrangement and colorful and rhythmic video, which includes dancing and stylish beach parties and models.

Sharmoofers will be accompanied at the concert by the band Disco Misr.

Friday, 9 November, door opens at 3pm and the event will end at 7:30pm
El-Horreya Garden, Zamalek
