Temperatures in Egypt to gradually decrease this week, no floods expected

Temperatures across the country are set to gradually decrease by the end of this week, the head of Egypt's Meteorological Authority Ahmed Abdel-Aal said on Monday, dismissing the possibility of floods.

Abdel-Aal advised citizens to start wearing winter clothes by the start of next week.

Egypt’s winter season officially starts on 21 December, according to the EMA.

Abdel-Aal also noted that rain in the northern coast and Nile Delta, Cairo and in northern Upper Egypt.
