'El-Hekaya Rooh' continues its success with a show at El-Hanager

'El-Hekaya Rooh', the latest play by the El-Shams Theatre Inclusive Troupe for Special Needs, was attended by Minister of Culture Ines Abdel-Dayem and national theatre leaders last week


'El-Hekaya Rooh', the latest play by the El-Shams Theatre Inclusive Troupe for Special Needs, has been staged at El-Hanager Theater on Wednesday morning during the sixthedition of the Bokra Ahla Festival for Special Needs Artists.

The successful play was first performed at the International Park Theater in Nasr City, where it is still performed on Thursdays and Fridays at 6pm, and it was performed Beni Sweif on Monday.

Egypt's Minister of Culture Ines Abdel-Dayem, alongside national theatre leaders, attended last week's show of 'El-Hekaya Rooh.'

"I would like to thank El-Shams Troup for the great show, which spreads a lot of positive energy and urges us to face challenges," Abdel-Dayem said after watching the show.

'El-Hekaya Rooh' features stories about iconic artists who overcame their disabilities, proving to be among the most important icons of their arts, including music icons Sayed Mekawy and Ammar El-Sherei, as well as Arabic Literature icon Taha Hussein.

Directed by Mohamed Metwalli, 'El-Hekaya Rooh' is written by Mostafa Zico and composed by Ahmed El-Nasser, and its cast includes Rahmah, Wael Abou El-Souod and Maher Mahmoud.

The Bokra Ahla Festival also includes plays from Oman, Morocco, Libya and Saudi Arabia.
