Zamalek agreed to loan their Congolese striker Kabongo Kasongo to Saudi side Al-Wehda for the next six months, the Cairo giants announced on their official website on Monday.
According to the club statement, the Saudi side will pay $ 500 000 to acquire the player services until the end of this season.
The 24-year-old, who joined Zamalek from Ittihad of Alexandria in the summer of 2017, scored 17 goals with Zamalek in 47 matches in all competitions.
The Congolese striker has two years remaining on his contract with Zamalek.
With Kasongo's departure, Omar El-Saed becomes the only striker in Zamalek 's squad this season.
Zamalek opened talks with several strikers to replace Kasongo as Moroccan international striker khalid Boutaib is strongly linked with the club.
The Cairo giants are leading the league table with 38 points, eight points ahead of second place Pyramids.
