Spokesman for the cabinet says growth is due to tourism, Suez Canal and construction activity
Egypt's growth in the fourth quarter of 2010 is estimated between 6-6.2 per cent, Magdy Rady, the cabinet spokesman, told journalists on Wednesday.
"The growth is due to higher revenues from tourism and Suez Canal, and also because of construction activity," Rady added after a ministerial meeting.
