Zamalek will be looking to get revenge for their first round defeat to Nogoum FC in the Egyptian Premier League when they visit the latter on Saturday.

Zamalek have played 18 games so far and are top of the league, with the Nogoum game, which they lost 1-0 back in August, their only defeat so far.

The superb run of results has raised the expectations of their fans; the White Knights have won 14 and drawn three so far in the Egyptian Premier League this season, as well as maintaining their position on top of the table with 45 points.

"I won't accept any result except winning over Nogoum," Gross told players ahead of Friday's training session.

Zamalek will do without key duo flamboyant winger Mahmoud "Kahraba" Abdel-Moneim and midfield linchpin Tarek Hamed as both picked their yellow card during their 4-1 win over Maqassa in the Egyptian league.

Also Tunisia full-back Hamdi Nagguez has been left out of the squad for this game.

The Cairo giants opened their CAF Confederation Cup group stage campaign with a loss to Kenyan side Gor Mahia 4-2 last Sunday.

"You have to turn the page of the Confederation Cup and concentrate on the league and not think of the previous game's results in Africa to be back to winning ways," Gross said.

The Swiss tactician have included January signing Ahmed "Zizo" El-Sayed in his squad also Ayman Hefni and out-of-favor have been called to the 19-man squad.

Nogoum FC will be making use of their new signing, veteran goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary, when they host Zamalek.

"El-Hadary is a strong addition to our team," Nogoom FC's president Mohamed Al-Tawila said in a press conference to unveil new players.

Nogoum FC, founded in 2007, are 15th in the table with 21 points after playing 20 games, having only achieved victory in five games, including the game against Zamalek.
