Morocco announce squad for Argentina friendly, Zamalek Boutaib in

Zamalek striker Khalid Boutaib was named in the Morocco squad that will face Malawi and Argentina later this month.

French coach Herve Renard revealed his 33-man list for the two games on Monday that saw the presence of the Zamalek striker alongside nine another strikers.

Already qualified, Morocco will face Malawi away in a Nations Cup qualifier on the 22nd of this month before hosting Argentina on friendly four days later.

Morocco are leading Group B in the Nations Cup qualifiers with 10 points, two ahead of second placed Cameroon.

Boutaib joined Zamalek from Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor in January, scoring twice in five league appearances.

The 31-year-old made part of the Morocco squad that played in last year's World Cup and scored in Morocco's 2-2 draw with Spain.

Stars Achraf Hakimi (Borussia Dortmund), Younes Belhanda (Galatasaray), Mehdi Benatia (Duhil), Hakim Zeyach (Ajax) were also included in the Moroccan roster.
