Rabie, the main drummer in the band of Egyptian mega star Amr Diab, will play his fusion of some of the most famous jazz standards
Egyptian drummer and percussionist Ahmed Rabie will perform a recital jazz fusion concert at the Cairo Opera House's Open Air Theatre Sunday, 7 April.
Rabie is one of the few Egyptians to introduce jazz fusion music to Egypt, founding many bands and playing with various musicians over the past 20 years.
The main drummer in the band of Egyptian mega star Amr Diab, will play some known standards in his drums only concert, with minus-tracks backing.
His repertoire includes La foule, Diamond, Tempo de festival, Traccia, Sorts yourself out, Get to it, Pick hits, The beat matrix, Festival, de Ritmo and Red Baron.
