Starting Wednesday, 1 February, Egyptian and international photographers will show their works in the Gezira Art centre. The exhibition, entitled "Gezira International Contemporary Photography," will present works by many renowned names in the field.

Artists include, in alphabetical order: Andrea Juan and Barbara Bezina from Argentina; Arne Grimstad from Norway; Clint Clemens from the United States, Dariusz Klimczak from Poland; Joe Smith, Kevin Casha and Martin Agius from Malta; Metzakis Manolis from Greece; Mohamad Al-Attar from Kuwait; Li Feng and Tong Bo from China; Teodor Pantea from Romania; andAyman Lotfy from Egypt.

The exhibition will open Wednesday, 1 February, at 7pm and will run until 15 February.
