He will be honored during the 28th Citadel Festival for Music and Singing that will see 45 concerts over 15 nights
Egyptian singer Mohamed El-Helw is attracting fans of the belleépoqueto his concert scheduled for 19 August at the Salah El-Din Citadel as part of the28th Citadel Festival for Music and Singing.
The famed singer's concert will feature traditional Arabic music, some of his latest numbers, Egypt's golden oldies and folk songs.
The 64-year-old singer will be honoured at the festival among other musicians and artists.
Some 45 concerts will be held at the 28th Citadel Festival for Music and Singing between 18 August and 1 September hosting three concerts a day at the historical venue.
Cairo Steps, Massar Egbari, Nesma Abdel-Aziz, Ali El-Haggar, Hani Shaker, Medhat Saleh, Ghalia Ben Ali, Dina El-Wedidi and Omar Khairat are some of the stars performing at the festival which will also host performances from Algeria, China, Namibia, and Venezuela.
