Bradley to announce on Thursday when Ahly players – still suffering psychological affects of Port Said disaster – will rejoin national side
Egypt manager Bob Bradley attended Ahly's training session on Wednesday to check on the players' progress since the Port Said disaster and learn when their will be able to rejoin with the Pharaohs' squad.
Ahly players did not attend a recent national team training camp due to the psychological trauma of being attacked on the pitch and witnessing the death of scores of supporters following Ahly's match with Masry on 1 February.
All football activities are suspended in Egypt during a 40-day mourning period.
Bradley spoke to club psychiatrist Mohamed Fekry before announcing he would make a decision on Thursday about when the Ahly players would be asked to rejoin the national squad.
The former United States manager also met Ahly football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz to discuss the Red Devils’ closed camp, due to take place in the UAE between 25 February and 10 April.
