Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry led an Egyptian delegation participating in the 18th summit of the heads of state and government of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) on Friday in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The minister will deliver a speech before the summit on behalf of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez said on Thursday.

The speech will focus on regional conditions and on Egypt’s vision for the most prominent international challenges, particularly the dangers posed by terrorism.

Hafez said that the minister is also set to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts on the sidelines of the summit.
