Trezeguet, Hegazi, and Elneny have joined the national team camp and participated in Monday's training sessions
Egypt and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has arrived in the residence of the national team on Tuesday afternoon ahead of participating in the preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Salah suffered an ankle injury in the 86th minute in Liverpool's latest match in the Premier League against Manchester City after a dangerous tackle from Brazil's midfielder Fernandinho.
The Reds had asked Salah to stay and undergo some medical scans to identify the extent of the injury, but he preferred to travel to Egypt for the national duty.
The Pharaohs trained on Monday night with the participation of the foreign-based players at Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
Egypt will face Kenya and Comoros on 14 and 18 November respectively in the first round of the AFCON qualifiers.
West Bromwich Albion's defender Ahmed Hegazi joined the national team in the main training, while Aston Villa's winger Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan and Besiktas's midfielder Mohamed Elneny underwent rehab training before Tuesday's training sessions.
