The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said a wave of unstable weather conditions hitting the country would ease by Tuesday evening, with medium rainfall forecast in most parts of the country on the day.

Medium winds are also expected in different parts of the country, causing turbulent navigation on the Red Sea. Suez Canal cities, the Gulf of Suez and parts of Sinai can expect thunderstorms.

On Tuesday, Cairo will see highs of 17 degrees Celsius and lows of 10, while Alexandra will see highs of 17 and lows of 11. High temperatures in Upper Egypt, usually the warmest, will hit 21 degrees.

Weather is expected to be back to normal on Wednesday, with the authority predicting most parts of the country to be dry.
