Ahly's winger Soliman extends contract for two years

Ahly's winger Walid Soliman signed a two-year contract to extend his stay with the Egyptian League champions until the end of the 2022-23 season, the Cairo giants announced on Thursday.

The 35-year-old joined Ahly from Enppi in the summer of 2011, helping the Red Devils win five league titles and two champions league trophies.

Soliman won the Confederation Cup in 2014 and the Egypt Cup in 2017.

The veteran winger has made 244 appearances with Ahly, scoring 57 goals and providing 45 assists.

Ahly will soon renew the contracts of trio Ahmed Fathi, Sherif Ekrami and skipper Hossam Ashour whose contracts expire at the end of this season.
