Ahram Online, , Friday 3 Apr 2020
The famed puppet will be on ON satellite channel every Thursday and Friday night

The first episode of Abla Fahita’s new season of Live from the Duplex was broadcast on ON satellite
channel on Thursday.

In her first appearance on television since Egypt declared a nighttime curfew, the comedy puppet
hosted a medical doctor to talk about preventive measures against the spread of the coronavirus.

Using her hallmark satirical tone, Abla Fahita gave examples of unusual situations from daily life and
asked the doctor how one can protect himself. “What should I do if my neighbour’s laundry falls on my
head? Should I throw it away or give it back?” she asked.

In the same episode, Abla Fahita interviewed a number of families who have been staying at home in
several different countries, asking them how they are dealing with the situation.

The same episode also featured well-known shaabi musician Hassan Shakoush.

Live from the Duplex is screened every Thursday and Friday at 11pm on ON satellite channel.
